Day 118

One of the advantages of having children who travel the world is being the recipient of wonderful and unusual gifts. Stacey brought this alabaster vase to us from the street markets of Cairo. Isn't it beautiful? It is translucent - the light can penetrate it - and the texture on the outside is smooth and feels somewhat like a bar of soap but leaves no residue on your hands. Just another treasure from one of my treasures...Stacey.
