This blog is devoted to the 200 days leading up to the day my daughter married her prince in an outdoor ceremony in New Hampshire on May 1, 2006. It was a dream-come-true kind of day. The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful and the groom was the handsome man by her side. They honeymooned in Hawaii and Maine and returned to Camp Berea to continue working with the kids who return every year. This site is dedicated to the newlyweds. Lots of love to you both!
In these days of IMs, text messaging, and cell phones, I like to imagine the days when postcards were mailed with a 1 cent stamp - just to let 'a friend' know that she is planning on 'coming down' soon. This card was mailed by my grandmother to my grandfather in 1913.
