I had just enough organza but plenty of satin (I might be able to make a shawl out of what is left...). It took me over two hours to cut the three parts (lining, satin and organza) for each piece of the skirt (1 front, 2 side fronts, 1 back and 2 side backs), plus the lining and satin for the five pieces of the top. Everything is folded and waiting beside the sewing machine. I need to stop & get a pack of new machine needles tomorrow, and then I can start the sewing. Yikes...the sewing!
