Day 49 ~ the final big one...

It's all finished, boxed up and ready to be mailed tomorrow...my last BIG job for Globe. Kind of ironic, too, is the fact that it is Insiders' Guide to the Twin Cities, which was one of the first books I worked on as a new editor at Globe 4 years ago. Funny...huh?

Steve left for his golf trip early this morning. He is trying to get over a beast of a cold he got earlier in the week. Poor guy was dragging yesterday when he was trying to pack his suitcase...no energy...lots of coughing, etc. I'm sure his energy level will improve dramatically as he & his golfing buddies find themselves in South Carolina later on this afternoon...let me check the weather down there for today...let's see...aw, gee! It's 66 down in Florence, SC right now (9:45 a.m.) and the forecast is a high of 85 degrees today. I have a feeling that the warm weather will make him feel so much better! After all, he is planning to play 36 holes a day/every day this week! (Why? I ask...why?!)
