Day 47 ~ it's time

My mom & I have been having this discussion for months, now. With her declining health, I have been talking to her about how to determine when she will have to leave her home to go to a nursing facility. She said that she wanted to stay at her home as long as possible. I understood that. But now is the time for her to leave. Her sight is gone. Her mobility is gone. And she needs constant supervision. Today, she admitted that she needed to make a change. Finally. Tomorrow she will be going to either the hospital or to the skilled care facility. She needs to go before she falls, before it's too late. And I will be assured that she is getting the care she needs.
