Day 191

I am happy to report that the boning has straightened itself out...(that seems like such a minor detail but when lots of little details go wrong...it becomes a major issue!).
Another minor detail - and a growing obsession I have is regarding birch trees. Eventually, I will be doing the sketch for the cover of the invitation. Jacquie suggested a birch tree with a view of the lake where she & Dan are having the ceremony. So...I am obsessing over birch trees. I am on the lookout for the perfect tree as I drive to and from work. I carry my digital camera in the car now - just in case I see the one! Did you know that many birch trees grow in clusters of three? I took this picture at a local church recently - I need to capture on film the leaves on the trees before they fall! Then I will have something to refer to when I actually start sketching in earnest (that will be another stress point!). Anyway...these are my thoughts for the day. The weekend is almost here...Rachael will be coming over; Caleb is coming home...and it's homecoming in Montgomery. You all should experience a "small town" homecoming - it's a treat!
