Day 158 ~ the day before Thanksgiving
Yes, I am getting everything ready for tomorrow. What's on the menu? Well, turkey, of course, with stuffing, gravy & mashed potatoes, buttered corn, green bean casserole, crescent rolls, and cranberry sauce. For dessert: cherry pie & Boston Cream Pie. Tonight, I'll be making the desserts and the cranberry sauce & throwing together the green bean casserole. Did you know that Campbell's Soup developed the green bean recipe in 1955? So...happy 50th anniversary to the casserole that will be on many of our tables on Thanksgiving!
