A VERY productive day!

Six hours of pinning, trimming, ironing, stitching, easing, smoothing, and critical evaluation...and here is the result. I really can't believe it. It looks okay! The lining, boning and zipper are all in place. I attached some folded satin at the waist to give you an idea of the finished design but Jacquie will decide exactly what she wants when she tries the dress on next month. Also, there may be some kind of bow added at the waist in the back and the satin edging may continue along the bottom of the hem, too. Right now, I must go and pick up the straight pins from the floor upstairs and vacuum before the shoppers get home! And then, I just might take a nap! What a day!
