Day 41 ~ : )

I had always considered anyone aged 50 and over as someone on the downside of life...nearing the end of a career, certainly middle-aged...yeah, right! Here I am - on the eve of my 50th birthday, considering what I bring to my middle-aged years. It certainly has been an interesting life! Twenty years spent in Connecticut and three marvelous children...and then some unforseen circumstances and a fortunate turn of events brought me back to Steve and a life here in a community near family and old friends. I could never have planned this life - but it's a ride I am continuing to enjoy and savor.
